Hand carved from a solid tiger maple, following the anatomical curves of the human body. No pressure points, the whole surface of the stool will support the upper body. Perfect for long hours to practice your guitar or any other instrument or just sit at the computer or dining table . Legs are supported with traditional mortis and tenon joints with black walnut wedges. The seat is 2" thick solid natural tiger maple, legs are black walnut, tiger maple stretcher. Finished, first with 3 coats of tung oil/spar varnish mix and then walnut oil and carnauba / bees wax blend, so surface scratches can be buffed off.
