GARNY - BLACK WALNUT SIDE CHAIR
FORM, FIT & FUNCTION.
This is our take on the early Windsor chairs. The back spindles and crest are steam bended and shaped with drawknife and spoke shaves. The spindles are all the same size so it has a simple but elegant look.
Our design's primary focus is on comfort, shape and aesthetic.
Hand carved from a solid black walnut wood, following the anatomical curves of the human body.
No pressure points, the whole surface of the chair, seat and back, will support the upper body. Legs are supported with traditional mortis and tenon joints.
Finish: 5 coats of tung oil, and then with our wood wax so surface scratches can be buffed off. GARNY Wood Wax can be purchased from the Wood section of our shop.
